M. Pavlun — doctor of geological sciences, professor, dean the faculty Ivan Franko National University Lviv, academician Academy Sciences Higher School Ukraine, full member Ukrainian Mineralogical Society, Shevchenko Scientific Society. Pavlun’s systematic scientific research on metallogeny and thermobarogeochemistry (TBGC) molybdenum-tungsten gold ore formations served as basis for preparation successful defense a candidate’s doctoral dissertation. For first time, scientist substantiated new field modern ore-formation metallogenic analysis TBGC modeling, diagnostics forecasting endogenous formations. Pavlun, an administrator, performs great organizational, educational-methodical patriotic-educational work aimed at highlighting multiplying achievements forming highly qualified specialists. The Pavluny consists more than 400 works, including three collective monographs hundreds articles, number reports state-budget contractual reference information publications anniversaries faculty, four textbooks, two study guides. many years conscientious significant in pedagogical activity, Mykola was awar ded with awards, distinctions thanks, among which: memorial sign named after A.I. Lutugin, medal V.I. Luchytskyi, jubilee Certificate Honor Presidium title “Honored Education Worker Ukraine”, Thanks from Lviv Regional Council, Rector University. staff Faculty Geology, colleagues friends sincerely heartily congratulate Mykolayovych his 70th anniversary.
